The end of the BIO27 Production Platform at MAO will be marked by an array of different events and activities that present the operation and activities of the platform at the 27th Biennial of Design (BIO), Ljubljana. Further on, the event will also take the opportunity to explore the relationship the young generation of Slovenian designers have towards sustainable design and sustainability in general.
The Days will kick off with a round table on the relationship the young generation of designers have towards sustainable design and vernacular practices, while, at the same time, investigating the production process of the BIO27 teams. The next two days will bring an array of guided tours, workshops, a special Saturday Pop-Up Shop at Plečnik’s kiosk, a tea drinking ceremony at Krater, and a guided tour of the BIO27 Super Vernacular exhibition with curator Jane Withers.
